CuriOdyssey: Making Learning Feel Like Playing
Anita and family have a special connection to CuriOdyssey; her and her family grew up visiting the exhibits at CuriOdyssey, formerly known to locals as Coyote Point. Now, in her philanthropic work with Bella and passion for environmental education, Anita has awarded a grant to CuriOdyssey, dedicated towards bring to life a natural garden for kids and families to enjoy for decades to come.

CuriOdyssey is a non-profit science museum and zoo that embraces kids’ natural curiosities and gives them the freedom to explore the natural world around them.
What they do
They provide hands-on learning experiences, through exhibits and direct education programs, centered on topics like environmental education and various sciences.
Why it’s important
Educational experiences through hands-on play and free exploration is the cornerstone of successful learning. When kids get to learn by making mistakes, natural problem solving, being messy, and following their curiosities, they develop foundational skills applicable to everyday life. All while having fun!
